Who We Are
Discover the magic of rhythmic gymnastics with Gymnastics Club Aura
Rhythmic gymnastics is an exceptionally beautiful and captivating sport, and since 1984 it has also been an Olympic discipline.
It combines elements of gymnastics, ballet, and expressive movement set to music, performed with various apparatus (rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon). Many consider it a form of art. In Russia, where the sport originated, it is called “Hudozhestvennaya” gymnastics, meaning artistic gymnastics. It is rightly regarded as one of the most graceful and beautiful sports for girls.
Rhythmic gymnastics helps girls develop natural flexibility while building strength throughout the whole body.
The unique way exercises are performed creates long, lean muscles, giving the body a graceful, slim, yet strong appearance.
It’s not only excellent for posture and coordination but also for boosting confidence, discipline, and creativity.
